The belief book club meets tomorrow

Last month, we inaugurated the belief book club. We picked, as our first title, AN Wilson's Jesus , a work which examines what we can know about the historical Jesus from the gospels. Tomorrow afternoon, a blog by Mark Vernon will kick off the debate on Wilson's theses. Judging by the last time we looked at this topic , there's no shortage of enthusiasm for discussion of Jesus the man. Indeed, Geza Vermes heavily influenced Wilson's thinking on the subject, though Wilson has since renounced this theory. So do have one last look at your copy of Jesus, if you managed to find one, ready for tomorrow.
