Lakeland Echo: 30 years and then no more

Last summer Cumbrian weekly newspaper the Lakeland Echo celebrated its 30th anniversary. This week it was closed down. At least there were no redundancies, as it was produced from the same office as its sister titles, The Visitor and Lancaster and Morecambe Reporter. Its website remains. Source: HoldTheFrontPage
