There's no "I" in party. Yesterday Gordon Brown launched Labour's election campaign with his cabinet around him , class-photo style. But, just as a teacher can't control what his pupils are doing behind his back, the faces of the cabinet ministers, including Harriet Harman, Alistair Darling and Lord Mandelson, were sending out messages of their own.
