Lauren Luke's deodorants

Soap & Glory Glad Pits anti-perspirant £4. Boots . Lauren says: Kept me dry all day. Mild scent. No whitening on my black T-shirt. ★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Crystal body deodorant stick , £1.99. Boots Lauren says: Didn’t really appeal – it’s heavier than usual sticks – but hypoallergenic and paraben-free, so good for sensitive skins. Saving grace is that 5% from every sale goes to the Pink Ribbon foundation. ★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Dove Invisible Dry , £1.55. Widely available. Lauren says: Once dried, it lasted all day. I like the simple packaging of Dove products, and their affordability. Mildly scented, it left no white marks. I’ll definitely use again. ★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Nivea Pearl Beauty, £2.95. Available nationwide. Lauren says: My favourite affordable spray deodorant here, because it’s so small and fits easily in a bag. Leaves you feeling fresh and clean with a gentle fragrance. ★★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Biotherm Deo Fresh, £14.50. Biotherm Lauren says: I loved the feel of this. The makers say it’s rapidly absorbed, and it was. Light, so good to keep in my bag for touch-ups – and I needed a few over the day. ★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Chanel Allure , £23, 020-7493 3836. Lauren says: Dries pretty fast, so no worries about wet spots on clothes. Heavily perfumed. Packaging looks special. I’d use it again. ★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk
