Strictly Come Dancing 2010 - liveblogs tonight and Saturday

I never thought I would spend three weeks pondering Anne Widdecombe's dancing ability – but due to Strictly's new policy of pairing the celebs and dancers up on screen and then sending them off to practice, I have largely been doing exactly that. Thankfully the weekend will see Strictly fans put out of their misery as this year's competitors take to the dance floor in two shows - one tonight and another tomorrow evening. Who will be able to dance? Will the weekend force us to totally overhaul our lists of potential winners? Will anyone be blinded by the sheer dazzle of sequins and glitter? And will Pamela Connolly's costume be every bit as bonkers as it sounded in her quite marvellous description last month ? Carrie Dunn will be liveblogging the shows both tonight and Saturday.
