London Olympics 2012: Danny Boyle's opening ceremony soundtrack

2012 Olympics chief executive Paul Deighton today promised that the London games would open with an "absolutely stonking soundtrack", courtesy of the ceremony's artistic director Danny Boyle. Deighton told the Sports Event Management Conference at Twickenham Stadium: It will be an absolutely stonking soundtrack. If you look at any of Danny Boyle's films they have a brilliant soundtrack and Britain has a strong musical heritage. He added there would be "a sense of fun and humour". So, what will Boyle, the director of Trainspotting , The Beach , Slumdog Millionaire and 28 Days Later give us? How about 80,000 people shouting "Lager, lager, lager, lager, mega, mega white thing"? Something from a favourite British girl band? Despite Boyle having no track record with this artist, my money is on Dizzee Rascal. With Lily Allen would be even better Your suggestions please...
