Shelter

This absurd, murky horror flick, made in Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania backwoods by a pair of Swedes, stars Julianne Moore as a forensic psychiatrist convinced that there is no such thing as multiple personality syndrome. But her religious views and her scientific convictions are sorely tested when she meets a local nutter (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who contains a multitude of characters and carries a strange infection traceable back to a bizarre incident in 1918. The list of people thanked in the final credits is headed by God. Whether He helped personally or just agreed to allow His name to be used is not specified.
