Birmingham City may try to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele

Birmingham City are considering a move for the AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele. The Belgium international, who will turn 23 tomorrow, has attracted interest from several English teams in the past as well as a number of leading European clubs. Alex McLeish, the Birmingham City manager, is keen to bring in another forward to play alongside the Serbian striker Nikola Zigic and has been alerted to Dembele's availability for about £5m.
