David Tennant back on BBC1 in Single Father

David Tennant is to return to BBC1 in the lead part in four-part comedy drama Single Father – his first starring role on TV since leaving Doctor Who. Tennant will play Dave, a Glasgow-based photographer bringing up four children after the death of his partner, who falls in love with his best friend's wife. Filming begins in Glasgow in March with further casting to be confirmed shortly. Single Father has been written by Mick Ford and is being made by independent producer Red through BBC Scotland.
