TV ratings: Michael Winner's Dining Stars goes hungry with just 2.6m

ITV's new Friday night show Michael Winner's Dining Stars attracted just 2.6m viewers. The restaurant critic's show was beaten by France's Six Nations rugby victory over Wales, which was watched by an average of 4.4 million viewers – a 17.9% share – on Friday 26 February, according to overnight ratings figures. Winner averaged a share of 10.5% of the audience between 9pm and 10pm. The second part of ITV's Winner double bill, Death Wish, which he directed back in 1974, attracted a 10.9% share or 1.4 million viewers between 10.35pm and 12.25am.
