Offer now expired: Demidenko returns to Colston Hall
It's a quarter of a century since pianist Nikolai Demidenko first graced the stage of Colston Hall . This month, he's back with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio to take on the most iconic symphony of the Shostakovich cycle along side Rachmaninov's high octane, take-no-hostages piano concerto. He'll also be performing Johan Svensen's frothy Carnival in Paris. The orchestra's newly appointed conductor is Terje Mikkelsen who, like Svensen, is Norweigan. There will be a pre-concert talk at 6.25pm, free with each ticket purchased.
