Which providers offer an offset mortgage against two accounts?
Q My partner and I have had an offset mortgage with Intelligent Finance for approximately seven years. We are both self-employed and this has worked well as we like the current account with extra jars for our savings and money we put aside for tax. We are looking to move and increase our mortgage but Intelligent Finance no longer offers mortgages like this. Which other providers offer a similar offset mortgage? GM A Lenders that allow you to offset money in both current and savings accounts — while keeping them as separate pots – are rather thin on the ground. However, according to Moneyfacts, they do exist and include: the Cumberland Building Society; First Direct, NatWest; Norwich & Peterborough; the Royal Bank of Scotland; Woolwich (from Barclays); and Yorkshire Bank. You can find out what interest rates these lenders are offering by going to www.moneyfacts.co.uk .
