Coins: search the data and help us analyse it

Now the government has finally released Coins (Combined Online Information System), it's up to us to work out what the data shows. Guardian developers Graham Tackley, Stephen Wells, Matt Wall, Paul Haine and Dan Vydra, have put together the first version of a Coins navigation tool to help you find your way around the data - all in less than 24 hours. Use the tool to filter the huge dataset by departments, spending types and time period. If you find anything interesting, we want to know about it. Either add thoughts to the comments field below - or mail us at [email protected] . We're also running a shared Google spreadsheet with Where Does My Money Go? - access it here World government data • Search the world's government data with our gateway Can you do something with this data?
