Red faces as air turns blue on Lauren Laverne's show

Anything Capital Radio can do, BBC 6Music can do, er … just as well. A week after Jodie Kidd's unfortunate F-word slip-up on London's 95.8 Capital FM , another F-bomb exploded on the BBC digital station, on Lauren Laverne 's morning show yesterday. "So what can people expect if they see you live?" asked Laverne of her guests, Freelance Whales (a popular beat combo, Monkey is assured). Lots of musical instruments, was the gist of their response. "That's a very literal answer," joked Laverne. So they gave her a less literal one. "Oh, sorry, it's going to be fucking awesome." Cue apologies all round. Lucky they're only freelancers.
