New face of politics at BBC

The BBC's Eton-educated deputy political editor James Landale isn't hopeful about replacing Nick Robinson any time soon. "Deputies never get the job," he told the Daily Express's Hickey column. He also acknowledged that Laura Kuenssberg, the Beeb's chief political correspondent and another contender for the post should Robinson ever vacate it, is prettier. If looks were a factor, James, Robinson would still be at ITV.
