Music Go Music: Expressions

Music Go Music are a trio from LA but they might as well be from 1970s Sweden: they have (mercifully) less enthusiasm for white satin one-pieces than Abba but otherwise, enthusiasm, and a joy in full-bodied, cheesy pop abounds. Standout "Light Of Love" begins in a mood of galactic melancholy before bursting into hands-in-the-air abandon. The topographical bombast of "Explorers of the Heart" and the audacity of "Reach Out" - which takes in both a Van Halen-esque guitar solo and a funky little sally into disco - will have you smiling.
