Libel lawyers' 100% "success" fees will slice back to 10% from 1 April, thanks to a doughty campaign from Index on Censorship, the Society of Editors and Jack Straw's willingness to see commonsense. It's not a victory in the fight to lose London's title as libel tourism capital of the world, but it's a start: and also the putative beginning of a splendid research project.
