With Emile Heskey joining their list of stricken strikers Villa may ask the England Under-21 striker Nathan Delfouneso to lead the attack. So the chances of Gérard Houllier's team improving on their modest league total of nine goals appear limited. Fulham have also been short of experienced finishers although Andy Johnson's brief reappearance against Wigan last weekend suggested the problem was easing.
