Appeal for road collision witnesses

We've just received the following update from South Wales Police: South Wales Police is investigating a serious road traffic collision which occurred on Monday 26 July at the junction of Allensbank Road and Whitchurch Road in Cardiff at approximately 11.45pm. As a result of the collision, a 23-year-old female passenger has sustained serious injuries. The collision at the junction involved a red Peugeot 206 and a black VW Polo near the traffic lights. Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, including those who may have stopped to help or seen the manner in which the vehicles were being driven prior to the collision.
