Karen Livermore named editor of Woman magazine

Karen Livermore, the editor of Woman's Own, is to take on the editorship of weekly lifestyle magazine Woman. Livermore, who has been the editor of Woman's Own since 2007, joins IPC stablemate Woman immediately. She replaces Jackie Hatton, who left in December to become editor of National Magazine Company's Best magazine . At Woman's Own she was responsible for overseeing a £2m redevelopment of the brand and leading a campaign against knife crime. She was previously editor of Family Circle magazine.
