Leeds today: a city underground, Unity Day and Bob Marley's son in Leeds

The other's a retort to 'secret' plans for gypsy and traveller sites in Leeds that's incredibly revealing about the traveller community in Leeds - and one you shouldn't miss. Here's what's making Leeds tick today Plenty of pictures of Hyde Park's Unity Day have been uploaded onto the Guardian Leeds Flickr group. Check 'em out here ! The Good Dr blog has posted about the event . There are some more pictures from the big day over at stuartsphotographyleeds photo blog. What if Leeds had an underground? That's the question posted over on the What if Leeds... Facebook page. Why not join in the discussion? "Leeds is home to many a hidden gem and certainly when it comes to cinema and a night out at the pictures you couldn't find more compelling settings than the Hyde Park Picture House or Cottage Road Cinema. However, there is one more! and it's tucked inside (the criminally undervalued) Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills." - Emma at The Culture Vulture blogs on Leeds' smallest cinema, Minicine, with just 26 seats.
