London 2012: Fencing progress report

To put that in perspective, before that we had not won a medal at a major championships since 1965. We took bronze in both the team and individual foil. Our women's épée team reached the quarter-finals. We are meeting our targets and doing well. In the next two years we will ... target medals at the World Championships in Paris this November. All six of our European medals have come in the men's foil, so that is the event we are targeting.
