Going the extra mile in memory of Hamer

A bunch of bananas to the Daily Mail's Sam Greenhill and former Sunday Mirror deputy news editor Dennis Rice , who are raising money for the family of Rupert Hamer. Sunday Mirror defence correspondent Hamer was killed in Afghanistan in January, the first British journalist to die covering the conflict.
