Q&A: Put your council cuts questions to leader Keith Wakefield

Leeds council last week announced its plans to make £90 million of cutbacks from its 2011-2012 budget. The council will debate the planned budget cuts on Friday, which include the closure of two leisure centres, the swimming pool at Middleton Leisure Centre, 13 adult social care buildings, Leeds Crisis Centre and reducing the number of council staff by 1,500 by next year. Now council leader Keith Wakefield has agreed to answer YOUR questions about the budget cuts. Exactly how will the council make its cuts? What process has the authority gone through to reach these recommendations? Could plans still change? Now's your chance to find out. Wakefield has agreed to field questions on ANY Leeds council cuts-related subject from Guardian Leeds readers. The agenda is set purely by you. All you need to do is post your questions in the comment section below or drop me an email or tweet me @GdnLeeds . I'll put your questions to him in an interview at the Civic Hall on Thursday afternoon, with the full interview published on Friday morning. This is your chance to have your questions answered...
