Look of the week It doesn’t matter if you don’t exactly know what Olivia Palermo actually does (she stars in MTV reality show The City). What is important is that she has a massive wardrobe, which she puts together in pleasing ways. This particular look, while not exactly groundbreaking, is well worth a quick perusal. Why? Because, if you break it down to a striped jumper, something denim and a Barbour-style jacket, it’s quite possible these things are already in your own wardrobe. Here they’re simply fashioned-up in a modern way by the stroke of clever belting. Last week we praised Sarah Brown for belting skills. Despite being seen as a fashiony purchase, they’ve stuck around for a good two years now, which suggests people are actually buying them. So give it up for this glorious piece of Fendi. Flash! Could the Holga camera be the new Toy watch? Possibly – it certainly has a growing colour palette of lively shades, including acid yellow and camouflage, plus it’s rocking a sort of cult-like attitude. Launched in the 1980s, it takes a far more lo-fi pic than a super-duper digital camera, but that’s probably its appeal. It comes with a long strap, so dangle around your neck for safety while simultaneously showing off the latest happening accessory. A collaboration between Kurt Geiger and English shoe brand Trickers (est 1829), these brogues have a traditional Goodyear welted sole (in other words, it’s top notch). Available in various two-tone combos, they are guaranteed to put some bounce in your stride.
