Guardian Camera Club: Cagey 75 on macro photography

Withered Chrysanthemum : Before throwing out the dying flowers I bought for my girlfriend's birthday, I saved this one that had a little life left in it. I think it looks more beautiful withering than it did when full of life, funny that Photograph: Cagey 75/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Beauty must die : This withered Chrysanthemum appealed to me for a nice macro shot. Flowers don't usually do much for me but I thought this one had some charm, it had held it's colour to the death. I got some nice 'bokeh' from the taps in the background as a bonus Photograph: Cagey 75/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Reflection over-dew : This droplet caught my eye, the branches from the upper section of the tree reflecting back onto it as I got closer gave it some interestingness Photograph: Cagey 75/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Bokeh in pink [macro of tricycle handlebar]: My little girl's weather-beaten tricycle sparkled at me from the yard - macro-opportunity. The main droplet reflects the winter sun, also got some nice sparkley bokeh from the dew on the tricycle seat Photograph: Cagey 75/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Yellow fruit stick : More commonly known as the banana. I liked the detail in the fibres on the stem, thought I could do something 'arty' with it Photograph: Cagey 75/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Mmmmm : Just testing some objects/lighting for macro, looks good enough to eat (and I did!)
