Arsenal's Jack Wilshere set to conclude Bolton loan deal after delay

Owen Coyle, the Bolton Wanderers manager, expects to complete his protracted pursuit of Jack Wilshere tomorrow with the Arsenal midfielder moving to the Reebok Stadium on loan until the end of the season. Coyle has tracked the 18-year-old midfielder for several months and initially attempted to take him on loan to Burnley, only for the manager's controversial switch to Bolton to end that move. Attempts to reopen negotiations with Arsène Wenger after Bolton's game at Arsenal last week were postponed amid the angry fall-out to William Gallas's challenge on Mark Davies. Coyle has since retracted his description of the tackle as "an assault" and Wenger has now given his consent to a loan deal, with West Ham United among several clubs interested in Wilshere.
