Go Compare opera singer's double life

The man who plays the opera singer Gio Compario in the Go Compare adverts was originally discovered when he doubled for Gary Lineker in an opera-themed Walkers crisps ad, it turns out. Welsh singer Wynne Evans tells the Sun: "Yes, I provided the voice for Gary. When Go Compare decided to make a commercial they used the same agent who provided the music."
