TV ratings: Frank Skinner shares his opinions with 1.9m viewers

The BBC's latest topical comedy show format, Frank Skinner's Opinionated, launched with just under 1.9 million viewers on Friday, 16 April. Frank Skinner's Opinionated features the stand-up and two other comedians dissecting the news in the company of a studio audience. Friday's first outing was filmed in London and featured Al Murray and Miranda Hart. The show launched on BBC2 with 1.877 million viewers and an 8.8% audience share in the half hour from 10pm. 10pm competion included new Channel 4 series Facejacker, from Fonejacker creator Kayvan Novak, with 1.186 million (5.6%), and a further 153,000 (1.2%) on Channel 4+1 an hour later. The fourth series of Grey's Anatomy launched on Channel Five – two years after it was first broadcast in the UK by Living, which is now on season six – with 853,000 (4.3%) in the 10pm hour. BBC1's 10pm news had 4.99 million (23.3%), while ITV1's News at Ten attracted 2.126 million (10%). New ITV1 series Marco's Kitchen Burnout features Marco Pierre White putting three different celebrities through their paces in a busy London restaurant kitchen each week – starting on Friday with Kelvin MacKenzie, Tupele Dorgu and Donna Air. Marco's Kitchen Burnout launched with just 2.694 million (11.5%), against BBC1's Ashes to Ashes (4.862 million/20.7%, BBC HD: 106,000/0.45%). Last Friday on ITV1 a repeat of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire had 4.031 million (18.4%) between 8pm and 10.45pm.
