The Sun: strong on currant affairs

The Sun has an interesting story on page 26 today, detailling the extraordinary rise in sales of currant buns, which have risen by 40% in a year. The "tasty teatime treat", it reminds readers, "is rhyming slang for the Sun", and is now the most popular fresh baked item behind the croissant. Coming second to the French is not something Sun readers would relish, of course.
