Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer set up independent production company

Location, Location, Location presenters Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are setting up their own Glasgow-based independent production company, Raise the Roof. Allsopp and Spencer will be joined at the new company by Sarah Walmsley and Jane Muirhead, colleagues from Location, Location, Location's producer, IWC Media. Raise the Roof has signed a development deal with BBC Worldwide, which will distribute the company's programming overseas and explore other opportunities for commercial exploitation of its content. Allsopp and Spencer will be on the Raise the Roof board.
