They are: Pamela Barrowcliffe, who won a distinction in the Royal Air Force award for teacher of the year in a primary school, in the Midlands region; Carey Norton, who won a distinction in the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust award for outstanding new teacher of the year in the north region; and John Reilly, who won a distinction in the National College award for headteacher of the year in a secondary school for the south-west region.
