Guardian Camera Club: Sabine Thole's portfolio

Convolvulus Seedlings : Spring is my favourite time of year. Within a short period of time our garden literally explodes and becomes lush and colourful. These convolvulus seedlings have been raised in a seed tray and are awaiting their planting out Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Tree Peonie : I am quite attached to this tree peonie as I raised it from seed which I collected from a plant that I saw each morning on my way to the tube. Branches of the plant were overhanging onto the pavement and for weeks I waited for the right moment for the seeds to pop so I could collect them. It then took another 5 years or so to flower. So quite a longterm project but well worth it I think Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Tree Peonie : This tree peonie is the blousiest plant in the whole garden. The flowers are the size of a plate and are an incredibly bright pink Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Allium : This allium is pushing its flower through its protective outer layer Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Tulip Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk Fatsia japonica : This shot was taken from below the shrub with the sunlight creating this effect with the double and single layers of leaves Photograph: Sabine Thole/Flickr Photograph: guardian.co.uk
