New Zealand announce two changes in second Test squad to face Australia
New Zealand have called up Mathew Sinclair and Kane Williamson to their 13-man squad to face Australia in the second Test. The hosts are attempting to bounce back from their comprehensive first Test defeat. One of the changes was enforced by the injury to Daryl Tuffey, who broke his hand after being hit by a rising delivery from the fast bowler Mitchell Johnson while making an ubeaten 47 at Wellington. Northern District's Williamson has been rewarded for a strong domestic season and New Zealand's selector, Mark Greatbatch, believes he deserves an opportunity at Test level. "Kane is an exciting young player an has scored a lot of runs in our domestic competition," said Greatbatch. "This is a good chance for him to be involved in the Black Caps environment. Along with Mathew Sinclair, he gives us various options and balances in the side." The full squad to face Australia on Saturday 27 March Daniel Vettori (Northern Knights, captain ), Brent Arnel (Northern Knights), Martin Guptill (Auckland Aces), Peter Ingram (Central Stags), Brendon McCullum (Otago Volts), Tim McIntosh (Auckland Aces), Chris Martin (Canterbury Wizards), Jeetan Patel (Wellington Firebirds), Mathew Sinclair (Central Stags), Tim Southee ( Northern Knights), Ross Taylor (Central Stags), B.J.
