Price check: BioShock 2

BioShock 2 was launched worldwide on 9 February – the sequel to the critically-acclaimed 2007 video game Bioshock. Players are returned to the dripping art deco splendour of the decaying underwater city, Rapture, in 'alternative history 1968', eight years after the events of BioShock. Prior to the 18-rated game's release, the chairman of the company behind it said he expected the game to sell 5m copies across all three formats. In its first week it was the best-selling Xbox 360 game in the UK and North America. If you've not yet got your copy, where can you get the best price? The best prices by far are online, as listed below, and there seems to be little evidence so far of any serious price-cutting on the high street. At Sainsbury's, for example, Bioshock 2 launched at £39.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions (it doesn't offer the PC version). We've put the best prices we could find below, but if you've found it cheaper, please post details of the retailer, price and format below. Xbox 360 Cheapest online: Woolworths.co.uk , £29.27, free delivery Cheapest on the high street: Tesco, £37.99 PS3 Cheapest online: Simplygames.com , £29.89, free delivery Cheapest on the high street: John Lewis, £34.95 PC Cheapest online: Amazon.co.uk £17.99, delivery £1.99 Cheapest on the high street: Tesco, £24.99
