Bach festival's closing phrase

Sad news from Bath, where it has just been announced that this year's Bach festival will be the last. It was conceived 60 years ago, by Cuthbert Bates, to mark the bicentenary of Bach's death and then resurrected in 1995 by Bates's daughter Elizabeth Bates and her choir, the Chantry Singers. Bates will retire after the final concert of Bach's Mass in B Minor on 23 October and the choir will, alas, be no more.
