Cut price hair clippers for Father's Day

Looking for a good present for your dad for Father's Day this Sunday? Male hair clippers are all the rage with chaps of a certain barbigerous bent. In 1919 Leo J Wahl patented his electromagnetic hair clipper. It was the first practical clipper with the drive motor in the hand rather than being connected to a separate motor through a flexible shaft ,and for almost 100 years Wahl has been a leader in the professional and home grooming category. Hair clippers are that rare commodity in today's world, offering style as well as being a money-saver. For this week's Price check we have considered two models: the prices are correct at the time of publishing, but if you have found them cheaper anywhere please post details below. The Wahl Chrome Pro (rrp £29.99) This model claims to give you more power than a standard electromagnetic clipper in order to cut through the thickest hair. This 25-piece kit gives you everything you need for regular home haircutting including a How-to DVD to help the novice home barber. Amazon is currently best priced at £20.29 . Delivery is free if you have already subscribed to Amazon Prime, or £4.49 if you want guaranteed express delivery by 1pm the next day. However, if you don't want to pay for delivery to guarantee its arrival prior to Sunday then Argos is charging £22.89 . Wahl Lithium Ion (rrp £39.99) If you are looking to spend a bit more and have a full cordless grooming kit that can quick-charge in a minute and fully charge in an hour, then the Wahl Lithium Ion from either Argos (instore and online) or Amazon costs £31.19. Cheaper alternatives If you like the Wahl brand name but are looking to spend less than £10 then Currys is selling the HomePro basic kit for £8.97 instore or online. If you want the full home grooming kit for around £20 then Superdrug is selling the Remington clipper set for £22.49. If you visit VoucherCodes.co.uk you can get a further 10% off including free delivery. You can also check out hair clipping instructional videos on YouTube for guidance on using your new tools.
