Squad sheets: Blackpool v Manchester City

Malcolm Allison once said that Manchester City would be the first club to play on Mars; they have not quite managed it but they are at least looking upwards as they arrive in Blackpool. Roberto Mancini's team have moved to second in the league and even Gary Neville has described them in the last week as genuine title candidates. Blackpool's impressive start to the season suggests they cannot be underestimated, even if this is a contest between the richest and poorest clubs in the Premier League and Ian Holloway will be missing from the home dug-out, serving a one-match ban for abusing the referee Mike Dean during the home defeat to Blackburn Rovers last month.
