World Cup 2010: Didier Drogba still major doubt for Ivory Coast opener
Didier Drogba remains a doubt for the Ivory Coast's opening match of the World Cup against Portugal because of a broken arm. Drogba wore a light protective cast on his arm during practice yesterday and continued doing ball work today but, according to the Ivory Coast manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson, is still in too delicate a condition to risk physical contact with other players. The Chelsea striker injured his arm during a friendly against Japan last Friday. He is still hopeful of making Tuesday's Group G opener in Port Elizabeth.
