Rangers offer Kris Boyd £18,000 a week to stay at Ibrox
Rangers have made Kris Boyd an offer of a new contract worth £18,000 a week in an attempt to keep the prolific striker at Ibrox. Boyd, who is being tracked by Middlesbrough and Birmingham City, is keen to remain at Ibrox at least until the end of his current deal in the summer. Rangers' offer represents an increase of £6,000 a week on his current salary. Rangers' financial troubles have been well documented recently but it seems they are willing to push the boat out to keep the Scottish Premier League's record goalscorer.
