Something for the weekend: blouses

A good blouse is the most satisfying of purchases – it adds instantly to your roll call of outfits, can do work or pleasure, and requires minimal trying-on faff. But admittedly, what constitutes a good blouse right now falls between pretty narrow parameters. It must be silky or soft at least, and fall within a Starbucks colour palette from caffe latte to apricot frappuccino. Clockwise, from top left High-neck with brass buttons £89, by Reiss Short-sleeve from a selection, by Viktor & Rolf, from netaporter.com Peach £135, by Tommy Hilfiger Short-sleeve £236, from Harrods Zip-up £35, by Marks & Spencer
