What should I do with my rings now I'm divorced?

Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it's up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in Saturday's paper. This week's question My husband and I divorced amicably recently and I am wondering what to do with my modest wedding and engagement rings. Should I sell them and use the money to mark my new life, or hang on to them? Have others regretted selling their rings, or wish they'd done it sooner? What are your thoughts?
