Police arrest following Canton fire

South Wales Police investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire at Severn Road in Canton, which killed a seven-year-old boy, have arrested two people. A 36-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Yaseen Ali, aged seven. They are currently being detained at a Cardiff police station. Yaseen's body was discovered after a fire at his home in Severn Road on Monday 12 July. Read our report on the house fire here.
