TV ratings: Seven Days makes disappointing start

Seven Days, the new Channel 4 reality show, made a disappointing start with just over 1.1 million viewers last night, Wednesday 22 September. The show was watched by 1.115 million viewers on Channel 4 and Channel 4+1, attracting a 6.6% audience share from 10pm. This was almost 50% down on Channel 4's average share in the slot over the past three months. Earlier in the evening the second instalment of BBC1's Lost Land of the Tiger had 3.48 million (14.6%) from 9pm. Another 123,000 (0.5%) watched on BBC HD. The 9pm competition in the other main networks came from BBC2's Britain's Youngest Boarders (1.814 million/7.6%), ITV1/ITV1 HD's Midsomer Murders (4.925 million/20.8%), Channel 4's Grand Designs (3.178 million/13.4%, including C4+1), and Channel 5's NCIS repeat (907,000/3.8%).
