Lauren Luke's beauty buys: blushers

Benefit Sugarbomb £23.50. Lauren says: This was too faint for my skin tone. Had to mix with my usual blusher for best results. ★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Clinique Fresh Picked All Over Colour in Mixed Berries £23.50. Lauren says: Three colours, which is good value for money. However, the formula is a little too creamy – feels more like an eye shadow. ★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Elf All Over Color Stick in Persimmon £1.50. Lauren says: You could buy the whole Elf line and still have change left over. Can be used for eyes, lips and cheeks, but didn’t feel great on my cheeks and eyelids. ★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Michael Kors Very Hollywood Blusher in Sunset Coral £23. Lauren says: Great packaging – very Hollywood. The matt blush applies well and lasts all day; a little shimmer, but nothing over the top. The mirror and brush make it a winner. ★★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Nars Multiple in Portofino £27, Selfridges . Lauren says: I like these multiple sticks and have a few of them. The colour and design look special, and the formula works well. The sticks last for ages, so you get a lot for your money. ★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk Shu Uemura Glow in Blush Pink £18.50. Lauren says: A surprise. It didn’t look special, but once on, I changed my mind. Gave a nice finish to my cheeks. ★★★★ Photograph: Sara Morris Photograph: guardian.co.uk
