TV ratings: 1m tune into BBC3 for Being Human finale

The season two finale of the supernatural drama Being Human was watched by 1 million people, at 9pm on BBC3 on Sunday, 28 February. The programme, about a ghost, vampire and werewolf who share a flat in Bristol, attracted a 3.9% multichannel share, according to the unofficial overnights. The programme has been recommissioned for a third series and production will move to Cardiff. Dancing on Ice on ITV1 was the most popular programme of the evening, with 8.2 million, a 31% share between 6.50pm and 8.30pm. Dancing on Ice: The Skate-Off at 9.30pm had 7.5 million tuning in, a 29% share, to see Emily Atack eliminated in a two-way tussle with Danniella Westbrook. As the filler in the dance show sandwich, Wild at Heart had 7 million, a 26% share, at 8.30pm. Match of the Day Live on BBC1 attracted 5 million who watched Manchester United beat Aston Villa to win the Carling Cup final. This was a 30% share of the available audience from 2pm until 5.35pm. The final hours of coverage of the Vancouver Winter Olympics was the biggest programme for BBC2, which attracted 2 million people, between 8pm and 10.55pm.
