Roberto Mancini escapes touchline ban over David Moyes fracas
Roberto Mancini has been fined £20,000, suspended until the end of the 2011-12 season, after being found guilty of improper conduct by the Football Association over his altercation with Everton's manager David Moyes last month. The Manchester City manager has, however, avoided a touchline ban over the incident, which came at the end of City's home defeat by Everton last month, when he barged into the Scot and accused him of time-wasting by holding on to the ball. An FA commission today found Mancini guilty but stopped short of banning him, leaving the Italian free to take his place in the dugout for Saturday's derby against Manchester United at Eastlands. City are currently well placed to claim the fourth Champions League qualification spot and sit one place and a point above fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur
