Roberto Mancini pleads guilty to FA charge over David Moyes fracas
Roberto Mancini, the Manchester City manager, has pleaded guilty to a Football Association charge of improper conduct over a confrontation with his Everton counterpart, David Moyes, which saw both men sent to the stands. Mancini, who said he would not contest the charge – which relates to an incident during City's 2-0 home defeat by Everton on 24 March – today made a formal representation to the governing body. No date has been set for the hearing, at which the Italian could receive a fine or a touchline ban. Last week Mancini said: "I accept the charge, I will not fight it. As I said after the game, I just wanted to get the ball and get the match finished. I'm normally calm but I want to win always. After the Everton game I had a drink with David Moyes and there was no problem."
